An agent must learn from outcomes. It observes the results of its actions, adjusts future behavior, and improves over time—closing the loop that traditional automation leaves open.
This collection of capabilities is not a feature that can be toggled on or off. It is a behavioral capability that emerges from system design, governance, and intent.
This is why Agentic AI cannot be reduced to models or tools.
An agent is not defined by:
